Our Services

Movement Analysis

We perform detailed observations of movement mechanics to identify functional limitations and patterns that may contribute to your pain. We then work to improve these!

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a physical therapy technique that uses insertion of a filiform needle to decrease trigger points, muscle spasm and pain. Dry needling can also improve range of motion.

Gait Analysis

We assess walking and running patterns to identify abnormalities and inefficiencies. This helps guide our treatment plans.

Sports Rehabilitation

We are here to assist you in your recovery from sports-related injuries. A variety of treatment tools and evaluative measures will be used to get you better as quickly as possible.

Golf Swing Analysis

A Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified PT will assess your golf swing to help you decrease pain, reduce overuse patterns, and improve efficiency.

Wellness/Injury Prevention

We aren’t just here for you when you’re in pain. All of our services are available in a preventative manner as well.

The Bluebird Difference

We perform one-on-one physical therapy and wellness sessions to ensure you are feeling your best and performing at the highest level. We begin by having a doctor of physical therapy listen to your story and perform a comprehensive examination of your movement mechanics, strength, and functional abilities. We use this examination to create a personalized plan of care designed to help you achieve your goals.

FAQs

  • Bluebird PT is out of network with all insurance companies. Being out of network allows us to provide the best possible care, giving us the freedom to treat without insurance limitations. We are focused on your outcomes, not insurance payouts. At the end of a physical therapy plan of care, we can provide a superbill which you may submit to your insurance company to obtain reimbursement for your care.

  • A bluebird day is a beautiful, sunny day that comes after a big snow storm. My goal is to get you to your "bluebird day."

  • Dry needling is a physical therapy technique that uses insertion of a filiform needle to decrease trigger points, muscle spasm and pain. Dry needling can also improve range of motion. Though dry needling and acupuncture use similar needles, they are two entirely different techniques based on entirely different philosophies.

  • “Not only did Amy help me get back to doing what I love after I injured my knee skiing, she helped me to be better than I was before. She addressed the root cause of the problem and helped improve my strength so it wouldn't happen again. Never before have I gone backpacking and not had knee pain on the way down the mountain. As long as you put in the work, Amy is there to help you move forward and get you back to where you want to be.”

  • "I reached out to Amy because I was having severe back pain and spasms. I could not bend where my hand went past my knees. After very helpful and informative stretches and workouts, dry needling was done in my low back. My pain was almost completely gone after the first session, and I could almost reach my toes!! Amy is very diligent and extremely knowledgeable about other Issues that were being affected by my back as well. And the fact I was in the comfort of my own home was a very big plus!"
